Next, you’ll be asked to upload some photos of your teeth. Using your phone, take a few clear pictures of your smile from different angles. Rest assured, we’ll guide you on how to take good photos of your teeth! Just be sure your teeth are relaxed and in their natural position, so our team can get a clear idea of your smile.
Once you’ve answered the questions and uploaded your photos, you’re all set! Our Zenyum team will take it from there and analyse the information you’ve provided. They’ll carefully assess the details you’ve shared, along with your teeth images, to determine if Zenyum Invisible Braces are a good match for your smile goals.
If everything looks good, you'll be invited to visit one of Zenyum's partner dental clinics for a comprehensive clinical assessment and personalised treatment planning. And just like that, your journey to a straighter, more confident smile begins.
Starting clear aligner treatment involves several steps before you actually receive your first set of aligners. From your initial appointment to fitting, the process typically takes around 7–9 weeks. Here’s what the timeline generally looks like:
Estimated time: 1–2 working days
Once you’ve completed your smile check, your information will be reviewed before the next stage of the process. Our Zenyum team will typically contact you within 1–2 working days to guide you through the next steps and arrange your appointment.
Note: Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.
Estimated time: 3–4 weeks
At your appointment, your dentist will assess your teeth and discuss your orthodontic needs and treatment goals. The information collected during your assessment is then used to develop your personalised treatment plan. This stage takes longer because your treatment plan needs to be carefully designed based on your individual tooth movements and desired outcome.
You’ll typically need to wait around 3–4 weeks before your treatment plan is ready.
Estimated time: 4–5 weeks
Once your treatment plan has been finalised, your aligners will move into the production stage. It usually takes another 4–5 weeks from treatment-plan confirmation to your fitting appointment. At this appointment, you’ll receive your aligners and your dentist will make sure they fit properly before you begin wearing them as instructed.
This is the point where the planning and preparation stage ends and your active clear-aligner treatment begins.
